I believe we are all spiritual superheroes, navigating the challenges of life in our unique human bodysuits, discovering our strengths, and learning to soar even when the wind is against us.
I am Sandra Cooper an author, speaker, spiritual coach, trainer and facilitator emerita. I have spent most of my life helping individuals and organizations lead and live from the inside out, align their inner values with their outer actions and unlock their unique strengths. My sole intention, to help people create lives and workplaces rooted in purpose, resilience, and joy.
Professional
As a Learning and Development Specialist, my career has spanned more than four decades, with senior leadership roles in public and private sector organizations evolving into ‘solopreneurship’, where, since 2005, I have been serving as a respected and sought-after independent professional.
As a seasoned group facilitator, I have helped guide organizations through strategic planning, goal setting, performance reviews, team building and cultural transformation. Equally, my training programmes have served to build expertise in communication, leadership, performance coaching, customer service, training of trainers, and social and business etiquette. Whatever the intervention, I invite people to look beyond their titles and tasks and reflect on who they are being. This shift from doing to being opens doors to more meaningful and measurable outcomes. It also helps people live and lead from the inside out, instead of reacting, fixing, blaming, or shaming.
In these moments of awareness previously sparring teams begin to work
cohesively, and leaders engage more authentically through the power of presence
rather position. This is the sacred space from which the ‘spiritual superhero’
emerges, the part of us that responds with clarity, strength, and grace, even in the
most human of circumstances.
My desire for growth and adventure has taken me into the wider Caribbean, to lead workshops or present at conferences in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Barbados, Trinidad, Grenada and Antigua. In 2005, I earned the designation of Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF), from the International Association of Facilitators, and in 2025 I was honoured by the IAF as CPF Emerita, a testament to my decades of impact as a facilitator.
As a new author and CPF Emerita, I am already thinking about my next book, one that will give back to the profession that helped shaped me. As such, I have no plans to retire any time soon, and will continue to express the energy, passion, and wisdom of a spiritual superhero, empowered with a whole lot of ‘sizzle’ pulsating in this wonderful human bodysuit.
Sandra possesses a sweet and gracious personality that immediately puts others at ease. Her wisdom and warmth inspire trust and respect, while her authenticity makes her a truly rare and cherished individual.

Spiritual
At the center of my life is a powerful and uncompromising faith, with spiritual practices that are not just rituals but guiding tools that shape my decision-making, the way I respond to life’s challenges, and consciously create outcomes that bring both joy and growth to my life.
Since the early eighties, I have faithfully served the Temple of Light Centre for
Spiritual Living, a church that has both supported and stretched me in so many ways. In turn, I have poured my heart back into helping others to recognize their inner light and embrace the greatness that resides within them. This lifelong devotion reflects the central theme of my book: how one can remain anchored in Spirit while navigating the realities of everyday life.
For me, being anchored in Spirit doesn’t mean that I have it all figured out. It means remembering again and again, that there is a deeper wisdom available, even when I fall flat on my face. (I actually did that once, falling out of bed away from home at a two-day retreat.) In those testy moments, I stop, breathe and choose responses that reflect love instead of reaction, clarity over confusion, and faith over frustration. This, I believe, is what practicing the Presence means, and it is the anchor that holds us all together, and the wings that carry us.
Personal
I am a creative, passionate, and resilient Scorpio, one who has lived her life as both student and teacher of what it means to be a spiritual superhero in a human bodysuit.
I have been a fierce lover of the performing arts for decades, finding joy in choral singing, salsa dancing, songwriting and musical theatre. My spirit is also nurtured by the unapologetic beauty of the natural world, new adventures in distant places, fine dining, and entertaining friends as a self-styled gourmet chef. I am well known for my decadent Christmas puddings, having perfected a family recipe passed lovingly through three generations.
Yet my greatest joy has always been devoted mother to my son, Kevin. I raised him as a young divorced single parent, walking beside him with courage and love through his visual challenges and ultimate blindness, finding in him both inspiration and strength.
Now, as I step into the decade of my seventies as a newly minted author, I do so with excitement and expectancy, trusting Spirit to continue leading me into new discoveries and the next unfolding chapter of what I think has been an extraordinary life.
Lastly...
Through my many adventures, a really fulfilling career and my abiding faith, I believe I have lived fully; intentional, curious and courageous. Now it’s your turn. I invite you to walk alongside me through the pages of my book, to see your story in my story, to embrace the lessons taught, and to live with courage, love, and purpose, fully awake to your spiritual superhero, as you discover what it truly means to “fly without wings!”
